Hope Scripture Verses

PRAYER OF SALVATION

Pray this prayer with me. If you’ve never made Jesus the Lord of your life, now is the time. If you’ve gotten away from God, it’s time for you to come on home, brother, where you belong. Just pray it, “Oh God in Heaven, I believe with all of my heart that Jesus has been raised from the dead. I receive your Word, and I repent of sin. I renounce the past. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus. I receive my forgiveness. I receive the new birth, cleansed and washed in the Word and in the precious blood of Jesus. Fill me with Your Spirit, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Father, in the name of Jesus, I present my body today as holy, living sacrifice, according to your word in Romans 12. I see in your word that is acceptable to you and Receive by faith you’re excepting my sacrifice. This body in which you have given to me to live in is holy ground. It’s off-limits to the devil, it’s off limits to sickness and disease. My body is absolutely off-limits to any plague because I take your promise of Psalms 91. 1000 can fall by my side 10,000 at my right hand and it does not come nigh me or my dwelling.

Ebola we take authority over you in the name of Jesus Christ.
Take you’re hands off of God’s property, keep your hands off of God’s property. My family, me, all of my household is off-limits to you Satan. Keep off, keep out. I plead the blood over me, my family, all of the believers of your divine kingdom, we stand together Lord for protection against every evil spirit, every evil person, every evil plan, every evil thing, and every wicked plan of the devil. The devil is bound, stop, thrown out in the name of Jesus.
According to Luke 4:11 we send ministering angels to lift us up, lest we dash our foot against a stone.
Keep us in all our ways Jesus!

Pray:
Father we do pray right now for a great awakening for Israel. We pray for great awakening in Israel.
Lord, I pray for the Parliament of Britain, I pray Father in the name of Jesus for the believers that are there.
I pray that you were shift the opinion there in Britain and give them a love for Israel.
Father I pray that even John Kerry, President Obama, those in our Congress, that you will shift their heart also.
Lord, I pray that the funding for the terrorist will be exposed.
We agree that the sanctions will work that the funding will be cut off. Expose it today, expose it worldwide.
Father wherever the money is coming from I pray that it will be exposed and cut off. Lord that they will not have an endless supply of rockets to shoot at Israel.
Lord we thank you for this. Father we bind the spirit of jihad.
I bind the powers of darkness that are causing hatred and forming this hatred.
Father. we thank you Lord we pray for a move of God in Israel. We pray that they will begin to have visions of Yeshua. Father we thank you Lord that what you’re going to do is so supernatural. Lord turn it for good.
We pray for protection for all the believers that we love in Israel. We stand for our beloved family that are in Gaza and in the Arab speaking world. Lord let them know we are with them in Jesus name. Amen

As I was studying the word this morning, I felt impressed of The Lord to write out those scriptures my dad taught me as a child. As I pondered on them, they kept coming to me like a river.. Chapter and verse… Word for word.
I want to encourage others to remember what the Lord put in their heart as a child, through our parents. Forward this BLOG to others and comment on it and we can all learn from each other. We all have different paths, but the same word that is the same yesterday, today and Forever!

About two months ago I was praying with my friend and we were interceding for our siblings to grow closer to the Lord and all of the sudden I stopped the prayer and quoted the verse above from Joshua 1:8
My prayer partner asked me about it and I prophesied that our siblings would remember those scriptures our parents had taught us as children.
The next day I received a text out of the blue from my brother with Joshua 1:8…
This is not typical of my brother.. He couldn’t quite remember who taught it to him.. But he remembered that this book of the law shall not depart from out of my mouth..the whole verse!

I am really saddened that as I traveled on a business trip…this week…I discovered that 95 percent of the people I had one on one conversations with….do not believe Jesus is the Name above all Names.
The ice breaker was when three of us were building our cameras together and I looked up and saw the Letters “J-E-S forming in the sky and I cried out Jesus!
I was excited and one co-worker said “it’s just a name”, I said, “no its not not to me”. The co-worker said, “in Spanish it is just a normal name”.
I stated that it was the Name above all Names!
Later in the day this co- worker was taking the name of Jesus in vain and someone spoke up and said that that would offend me…
Their nickname for me was Jesus Freak and I liked it!
At one point we were putting sunscreen on and One guy mentioned that his friend better make sure to put sunscreen on because of the skin cancer he had removed.. The guy putting sunscreen on said, “yeah but that doesn’t help my brain cancer”.
I asked him if he really had brain cancer….he said “no he was kidding, he probably should not kid about things like that”.
I said “oh, cause I was gonna pray to Jesus to heal you.”

Three times in my ministry life thus far, I have studied the ministry and function of angels. The first was in the 1980’s when I was a pastor in Warrensburg, Missouri at Harvest Fellowship. The second was in the 1990’s while I was on staff with Mike Bickle in Kansas City. The third time was this past year in 2006 in Franklin, TN when teaching one of my classes.
Not only has the Holy Spirit had me to study the scriptures, but once again, I dove into church history and gleaned many different perspectives. Then I combined these two scholarly approaches with the experiential – I did interviews with people who have had angelic visitations and added some of our own testimonies. Thus we have a three cord strand that cannot be quickly torn apart – scripture, church history and current day accounts. This is the framework I use in all of my writings whether for books, magazine articles or study guides.
The following material on the Ministry and Function of Angels is a part of our latest book called Angelic Encounters. Take and read – this is our life!
THREE SCRIPTURAL WARNINGS
Among the 300 scriptures on angels we find three main warnings concerning angelic beings. Let’s look at them:
1. Do Not Worship Angels
Colossians 2:18,19 – Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath no seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind.
2. Do Not Revile Angelic Hosts
A. Jude 8 – Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
B. II Pet. 2:10,11 – But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.”
3. Always Judge the Message
Galatians 1:8 – But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
THREE PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
1. The Angels Render Service to God
Psa. 148:2,5 – Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts… Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.
2. The Angels Render Service to Christians
A. Heb. 1:7 – And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
B. Heb. 1:14 -Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
3. The Angels Perform God’s Word
The following describes three possible ways that angels are released into their service.
A. Psalms 103:20, 21 – Bless the Lord, you His angels, Mighty in strength, who perform His word, obeying the voice of His word! Bless the Lord, all you His hosts, you who serve Him, doing His will.
1. God’s direct command released to the angels giving them a “job to do”.
2. God’s command released through man:
a. Through intercession an invitation or request is heard and God responds to man’s cry.
b. Man hears God’s word in his or her heart and – thus speaks (a rhema word or gift of faith).
THE DIVERSE MINISTRY OF ANGELS
1. Minister the Presence of God
A. Isa. 63:9 – “And the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity (compassion) he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.”
B. Rev. 18:1 – Illuminated earth with His glory.
C. Angels are said to have camped around Charles Finney’s meetings.
2. Deliver God’s Word or Message
A. Mt.1:20 – Sent to Joseph.
B. Mt. 2:13,19 – Warnings to take Jesus to Egypt.
C. Lk 1:19,26 – To Zacharias and then to Mary.
D. Mt. 28:1-7 – Resurrection proclamation.
3. Release Dreams, Revelation and Understanding
A. Dan. 8:15-19 – Understanding of end times imparted.
B. Dan. 9:23 – To gain understanding of the visions granted.
C. Rev. 1:1 – Revelation of Jesus Christ communicated by His angel. This is how the book of Revelation was received by John, the apostle on the Isle of Patmos.
4. Guidance and Direction Given
A. Acts 8:26 – Philip and Ethiopian eunuch.
B. Gen. 24:7,40 – Bride for Isaac.
C. Acts 27:23, 24, 29 – Message to Paul on ship.
5. Deliverance Brought Forth
A. Isaiah 37:36 – “Then the angel of the Lord went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand.”
B. II Kings 19:35 -185,000 of the enemy were struck dead.
C. The British Air Chief Marshall believed that angels drove planes of dead Royal Air Force pilots during the Battle of Britain during World War II and thus helped protect Britain from Nazi invasion.
6. Protection Granted
A. Matt. 18:10 – Guardians over children.
B. Psa. 91:11,12 – In charge over believers, bearing us up from danger.
C. Psa. 34:7 – Encamps “round about” surrounding and delivering those who fear God.
D. Corrie Ten Boom’s tells of incidents of angelic help while in Nazi’s concentration camp.
7. Death of the Saints
A. Psa. 116:15 – “Precious is the death of His godly ones.”
B. Psa. 23:4 – In “the valley of the shadow of death,
Thou art with me.”
C. Lk.16:22 – Lazarus carried away by the angels.
D. Jude 9 – Dispute over Moses’ body was made between the God’s angels and the powers of darkness.
8. Impart Strength
A. Matt. 4:11 – After a 40 day fast, the angels imparted strength to Jesus.
B. Luke 22:43 – Jesus in Gethsemane was once again strengthened supernaturally.
C. Dan. 10:16 – 18 – During a time of distress angels were used to impart God’s strength.
9. Releasing Healing
A. John. 5:4 – At the pool of Bethesda, an angel would stir the waters and healing would occur.
B. William Branham’s testimony – May 7, 1946 An angel appeared to him imparting gifts of healing. and the gift of the word of knowledge.
10. Praise and Worship
A. Luke 2:14 – At Jesus birth, angels proclaimed praise to God.
B. Rev. 5:11,12 – Ten thousand times ten thousand angels declaring “Worthy is the Lamb to receive…”
C. Gen. 32:1,2 – This speaks of a special occasion where there was an encampment of God’s angels.
D. Events throughout church history have been recorded where angelic praise is heard by man. Thus it was reported years ago with Ern Baxter at a camp meeting in England.
E. Mike Bickle of IHOP KC told of a time he heard angelic music when attending an early morning prayer meeting.
11. Engaged in Spiritual Warfare
A. Rev. 12:7 – Michael and his angels fought against the dragon and his angels in the original War in Heaven.
B. Dan. 10:13 – Michael fought and prevailed against the fallen angelic principality over Persia in response to Daniel’s intercession.
C. Psa. 149:5-8 – The high praises of God are supernatural weapons of spiritual warfare to bind “their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron.” Could these “kings” and “nobles” be fallen angelic rulers (Greek: archon) as well as lesser human rulers they manipulate?
D. Rev. 20:1-3 – An angel has a chain in this account. Who binds the forces of darkness? All three: God, man and the angels.
12. Divine Watchers
A. Dan. 4:13,17 – Looking into the historical affairs of man.
B. Acts 12:20-23 – Looking, listening and responding.
C. I Tim. 5:21 – Have no partiality because…
13. Release God’s Judgments
A. Gen. 19:11 – Blindness was released.
B. II Ki. 19:3-5 – Assyrians struck.
C. Ex. 12:18-30 – Destroyer was sent out.
D. Acts 12:20-23 – Angel struck Herod and he died.
E. Rev. 16:17 – Trumpets and bowls are poured out by the angels releasing God’s judgment in the earth.
14. Reapers and Gatherers
A. Rev. 14:6 – Gospel to preach.
B. Rev. 14:14-19 – Uses to reap the end time harvest.
C. Mt. 13:39-42 – To gather the lawless.
D. Mt. 24:31 – Gather the elect unto the Lord.
CLOSING PRAYER
“Lord, send forth angels in our behalf. Raise up a hedge of protection around each one who reads this Bible Study. Release the angels that are guardians over Israel in this hour. Send forth your winds and fires for Jesus Christ sake! Amen and Amen!”

11 Scriptures for 2011

While I align with the Hebrew calendar of 5771, I also honor the civil calendar of 2011. I find that the Holy Spirit is quite capable of speaking to us in both calendars. Many prophetic voices have stated, 2011 is a year of great transition. I wholeheartedly agree! It could be a year of great turmoil and disruption in the nations as well. The Holy Spirit is having me revisit the things He showed as many as 20 years ago and is bringing me to the realization that these are the beginning of the days He was speaking to me about in those earlier years.
We need to transition in this year by moving forward in many levels into a fuller realm of authentic apostolic life and greater discipleship. 11 is an “odd number”. It is a year that things have to be resolved! We must move forward. I cannot over emphasize this point. It is imperative. I keep feeling that there is something coming soon on the horizon called electromagnetic pulses. It has to do with communication systems being attacked and disrupted. So let’s be ready in prayer to move into crisis intervention at any moment!
For the first time ever in my life, I felt the Holy Spirit give me scriptures for the 2011 year. Yes, I am late in distributing this – but God knows it has been in my heart to deliver this for weeks. Along with these scriptures, I have made an Update Message expanding on these points that I will release very soon. So let’s go to the Word of God and receive hope for our days! As you will see, most all these scriptures have the number 11 or 20 in it and in some cases a combination of both.
1. Psalm 16:11 – At the Right Hand is Fullness of Joy!
It is a time that we must find, or for some of us rediscover, that our true fulfillment in life and our true pleasure comes from the right hand of God – the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. I am starting with this verse on purpose. He is our treasure. In Him is fullness of joy in every aspect of life and everlasting pleasure. O, how I love Jesus! Seek Him!
2. Luke 11:1 – Teach us to Pray!
II Cor. 2:11 – Not Ignorant of Satan’s Schemes
A fresh emphasis on the “Hour that Changes the World” will come in 2011! Many will enroll in His School of Prayer! It is time for renewed understandings on Spiritual Warfare and the Authority of the Believer. We must continue to soak in intimacy, but then we must also arise and release the power of His declarative Word! Kingdom Come! Will be Done! Teach us to Pray!
3. Romans 1:11 – Imparting Spiritual Gifts
Col 1:11 – Supernatural Strength
There will be a higher level of gift impartation and empowerment of the Holy Spirit through the laying on of hands for supernatural strength for the days in which we live. New healing ministries will be released and deliverance from demonic oppression will result by the authority of one revelatory word!
4. John 11:1 – Three Friends of Jesus
The three friends of Jesus will find each other. “Marthas” will go out and find people, invite Jesus to their house, and hospitality will find a new place in the House of the Lord. “Marys” will continue to assume their posture at the feet of Jesus but with gratitude that Martha brought Him to the house. When Martha and Mary are joined together it will result in the raising of the dead of “Lazarus’” in our midst. The revival of the raising of the dead shall break forth!
5. John 11:11 – It is Time to Awaken out of Sleep!
Jesus went to “awaken” His friend Lazarus from out of His sleep. While revival, renewal and outpourings shall continue to spring forth in various locations, we have crossed the threshold into the beginning of the Third Great Awakening! Yes, in our day and our time! (See my CD called I MUST BURN! to experience this!) Empowered believers will be released into societal transformation.
6. John 20:11 – Humility and Perseverance are Required!
Mary stayed at the tomb even during a time of confusion. She stooped low and gazed within. Mary was then enabled to see two angels and eventually encounter the risen Lord Himself. It is time for humility and perseverance. Stoop low and keep on looking!
7. Titus 2:11 – Grace for Salvation
The message of grace will come forth with greater clarity. It will produce a true call to complete conversion. A purity movement will result as new people come to faith shedding their old ways and provoking older believers to engage in a true holiness! Tough cases will be resolved. Rough people will get saved! Watch for it! Expect it! Saul’s shall be changed to Paul’s. Muslims will come to the Lord in record numbers!
8. Acts 20:20 – Public Teaching and House To House
It is a time when apostolic wineskins are being formed to hold the new wine. This will include a renewed emphasis on teaching and discipling including great Bible expository preaching and many forms of a House to House movement that is apostolically aligned! Out of necessity “discernment” will increase. In fact, this is my major prayer for my own life and ministry. Wisdom, discernment and the fear of the Lord will increase. The fear of the Lord is clean! We will exchange performance based acceptance for encounters of a greater depth of the fear of the Lord. He will motivate us when we experience Him!

Recently I was given a “warning dream” stating that we were entering into the time of the “division of the nations”. Nation after nation will take a stand against Israel and her land covenant with God and abandon her. (I do not like making this statement!) Many nations will take a dangerous position this year concerning their posture towards Israel and the Land. A war will loom, brewing in Syria and Lebanon to retake the Golan Heights. But I saw in the dream that there will be one nation that will arise in that dark hour – the nation called the “body of Christ” will be Israel’s best friend.

In one of my recent e-mail communiqués, I told about the encounter I had “Supernatural Faith for the Changing Room.” It was a profound encounter. I asked on the phone, “What time is it?” I heard a voice of the Lord say, “It is time for Jeremiah 33:3.” A television popped on and I saw people changing garments. They were taking off their old clothes and were being clothed with Joseph’s coat of many colors of favor! It is time for an extreme makeover! It is time for faith for the changing room!
